The Consultant analysed the daily water consumption based on actual meter readings, not estimates and identified a number of errors in the bills. Three Valleys Water agreed with his analysis, rebilled the client, and sent a refund within 3 months.
• £5,633 rebate obtained from Powergen
Powergen’s inefficient internal systems led to a long delay in registering a new supply. Out of contract rates were charged by the outgoing supplier for 21 months. The Consultant summarised these rates and compared them to the agreed Powergen contract prices. He was able to demonstrate the client had paid an additional £5,633 as a result. Powergen refunded this amount.
