Fruit in Brandy
Description A delicious dessert that keeps very well in the fridge.

  • 1 can (850g) sliced peaches
  • 1 can (850g) pineapple pieces
  • 250g glace cherries
  • 1 cup of sultanas (1)
  • 1 cup of raisins (2)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped prunes (3)
  • 2 dessert spoons sugar (4)
  • 1 cup of brandy

Methods/steps

Drain peaches and pineapple and add the juice to 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Bring to boil and simmer for 7 minutes.

When cool, add peaches, pineapple, cherries and finally brandy.

Chill.

Serve with whipped cream.

Additional Tips

This makes more than enough for 8 serves, and the remainder keeps well because of the brandy.
