Broccoli Braised with Leek and White Wine

- 900g broccoli
- 2 leeks
- 3tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Handful finely chopped parsley
- 120ml dry white wine
- Salt and black pepper
Methods/steps
Break broccoli into florets(small pieces) and steam till almost tender.
Cut leeks in half lengthways and wash, cut into slices 1cm thick.
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan, cook garlic and parsley for a minute, add leeks and wine. Bring to boil then simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally, add broccoli, salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes.
