Nice sna photos... I like the white and brown harmony of the first one (with the lovely coos)... and the crop trihedron .
And I think you were right to stay at home when I see those roads.

Not that long ago that cottage stood on its own.
Now there are even houses behind it!
All happening in the lifetime of GrampianLife

I have just been for a walk round our local park.
This innocent looking stream was dug in 1638 to supply Hampton Court Palace, it must have been quite an achievement at the time.

Lovely photos, farmloon... it's strange to see London under so much snow.. nothing left here but more snow is due for Friday.

You live out that way Farmloon? I fulfilled a long held dream and visited Hampton Court last time I was in the UK 3 years ago. For some reason, I don't know why, I always wanted to see it. It was so, so interesting and in a lovely part of the country. I also visited Windsor Castle on that trip which I also found fascinating. I've always loved history. In Scotland, in my opinion, Stirling Castle is also a must to visit plus the town house of some Duke (forget which one) and the Old Stirling Jail.

Like the snow people Polarvoid (appropriate name for the time of year!)....judging by their surroundings, I wonder if they could be new recruits for the grounds staff in "Dear Green Space"
