This unique orchestra has grown out of last year's Festival Cello Workshop. Its nucleus comprises past and present students of the NE Scotland Music School as well as others from conservatories, those on the brink of careers as cellists as well as teachers and doctors. There is a wealth of music for cello orchestra. Our own diva, Pandy Arthur soprano and Donald Hawksworth piano will also participate.Programme. Various pieces for soprano, piano and cello. Popper Requiem. Various ligter arrangements. Klengel, Hymnus (for 12 cellos).
