This year’s performance features Two Plays by Charles Barron - Effie and Evie.
Effie is based on the short story Dark Encounter by David Toulmin, displaying both the cruelty and the humour of Aberdeenshire farming life 80 years ago.
One of Charles Barron’s most popular works, is a one-woman play about an aging Aberdeen woman, pictured with affection and humour.
Originally written three years ago for the Doric Festival, it is now back by popular demand.
The plays reveal the differences between Country Doric - (Effie) and Toonser’ Doric -(Evie).
Both Doric and Non-Doric speakers should have no problem following the plots and having a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Tickets will be available from the Hair Shop on High Street - 01467 642177
