The third riding of the Karen Teale Memorial Bike Run (the fourth riding of the Alford Charity Bike Run) will be held on Saturday 9 September 2006.

In the last three years over £27,000 has been raised for a range of local and national charities as well as other local groups.

This year there is a choice of two courses. The original 27 mile course through the beautiful Donside countryside. The course starts and finishes in scenic Haughton Country Park, and runs up Donside to Kildrummy, Glenkindie and Towie, then back via the Glacks and the Muir of Fowlis. The course does have a few hills and is unlikely to be suitable for children below P6 age group.
