The East to West Coast Historical Commercial Vehicle Road Run started in 2002 and has become an annual event. The run is open to historic light and heavy commercial vehicles and buses and takes place on the last weekend in September.

Participants leave Fraserburgh on the Saturday morning and follow a scenic route to one of three destinations on the West Coast - Ullapool, Mallaig or Kyle of Lochalsh.

The 2006 run willl terminate in Ullapool.
