Japan Day 2009

• Thistle Cup(Kendo): Sat. 20th June 12:00~17:00
• Japan Day(Culture): Sun. 21st June 12:30~16:00
• Kendo Open Day: Sun. 21st June 14:00~15:00

at RGU Sports Centre, Garthdee Road Aberdeen, AB10 7QB

There will be

• Japanese toys stall by Japanese School
• Bonsai exhibition and demonstration by Mr George Henderson
• Japanese food and drink (possibly Sake!) stall by Yatai restaurant
• Shodou calligraphy table by Mrs. Chiho Robertson
• a stall by Nippon Connection (university students group) (TBC)
• Tea Ceremony demonstration with tea ceremony group
• Demonstrations by the Aberdeen Go Club
  

We are also planning spot Japanese song session in the course of the afternoon.
